For many start-ups, developing and diversifying sales channels is a key to success in their corporate strategy. We are aware that many start-ups that have innovative technologies or groundbreaking business ideas but face challenge to convert these assets into sales straightaway. We have been and continue addressing this challenge together.
We provide access to the MUFG network of 400,000 corporate clients. By combining this network with our deep understanding of individual investees’ operations, we introduce them sales channels that would match their business needs, partners with which operational synergy may be achieved, and other business contacts.
We also endeavor to help large companies promote open innovation. As part of this initiative, we have been introducing a start-up’s technology or idea to a large corporation facing a business challenge as a possible solution. In consequence, we have created a number of win-win relationships between such companies and start-ups.
